Beth completed her MChem degree in Forensic and Investigative Chemistry at the University of East Anglia in 2015. Following this, Beth then started her PhD at Loughborough University. She graduated with her PhD titled 'Forensic evidence enhancement using physiological aspects and processes' in 2019. After completion of her PhD, Beth joined Foster+Freeman as a Laboratory Chemist, where she worked until 2024, conducting research alongside chemical production. Beth started at Ð԰ɵç̨ in 2024 as a Lecturer in Forensic Chemistry, her current role involves teaching to all levels of the Forensic Science course alongside research involving the chemistry of fingerprints. Beth is a member of the Royal Society of Chemistry, the Chartered Society of Forensic Sciences, the European division of the International Association of Identification and the East Midlands Forensic Network.
