Dr Su Lu’s research sits at the intersection of health and wellbeing, environmental psychology, and judgment and decision-making. Her work examines how individuals and communities navigate complex social and environmental challenges, with a particular focus on how structural inequalities shape mental health and wellbeing. Drawing on interdisciplinary methods, she investigates how people perceive risk, make decisions, and engage with interventions in contexts ranging from climate change and environmental stress to healthcare and community resilience. Her current projects emphasise participatory approaches, working closely with marginalised groups to co-produce knowledge and develop practical solutions that improve equity and inclusion.
